Eviction Interview – Jared Kesler

Jared Kesler is evicted from the Big Brother Canada houseIn last night’s double eviction, Jared Kesler from Winnipeg, Manitoba was evicted from the BBCAN GRAND and joins Mitch, Raul, and Maddy in the jury house. The brothers and Nikki were Cassandra’s initial nominations until Phil won the Power of Veto and used it to save him and his brother. Upset that Kelsey and Jared felt safe and put little effort into the POV challenge, Cassandra named Jared as the replacement nominee. In a 3 – 1 vote, the self-proclaimed “King” was sent packing.

With only five houseguests left, the $100,000 grand prize is anybody’s game! I was able to interview Jared today and was allowed a few questions to ask the evicted houseguest. As Jared is now a member of this seasons jury, my questions could not be revealing or influence his decision deciding the winner of Big Brother Canada 4.

Q. Did you think you were going to make it all the way to the end and who would you have wanted next to you as F2? A. I think everyone thinks they have a shot to make it all the way to the end and we all played a completely different game. My game was more apparent and out in the open. I never hid who my loyalties were and I took a lot of heat because I was so honest and open with who I was loyal to. This put a huge target on my back right from the beginning. As far as who I would want my “final 2” to be at the end, I would have been happy to do it with Kelsey because she was loyal to me throughout the game, so selfless and kind and willing to use the Power of Veto on me to take me off the block so I respect her immensely for that.

Q. What do you think you will base your jury vote on, game play, strategy, morals or personal history in the house? A. It’s going to be a mixture of everything depending on who is standing next to each other at the end, I honestly will use a bit of all the qualities you mentioned, not just one or the other. It really boils down to who is at the finish line because everyone played distinctly different games and I would want to compare them each to the other.

Q.  I’m sure you are tired of all the “hair” questions, but this is a fun one. How much exactly would you say your hair is worth? (Note: Credit to BBCAN2 winner Jon Pardy for this question.) A. I would have needed one dollar more in that competition to cut it, (jokes.) In all seriousness, if I went back into the house I wouldn’t think twice about shaving my head. At the time I just didn’t think it was necessary.

It’s getting tense now that we are less than two weeks away from the Big Brother Canada 4 finale. Who will be evicted next and who will remain to battle things out for the GRAND prize? Below is a collection of live feed screen caps of Jared inside the Big Brother Canada house.
